Parade Antiques Blog

About

Parade Antiques and Collectables has resided on the Barbican, Plymouth since 1997. With its Napoleonic Citadel, Elizabethan backstreets and Medieval Harbour, the setting is perfect for an antiques shop.

Our premises, an 18th century warehouse housing a vast collection of artwork, ceramics, glass, furniture, silver, jewellery, medals and celebrity memorabilia.

In particular the collection of Military antiques is impressive and is thought be the largest in South West England. What we display is only a portion of what there is, so don’t hesitate to ask if you are looking for something in particular.

I am very interested in your diary of Maurice Southgate, who was my father’s cousin and ‘Uncle Maurice’ to me. I remember him and his wife, Josette.

    • Hello Mary,

I’m glad to hear of your interest and apologies for our sluggishness in updating it! He’s a fascinating man and his diary deserves to good hearing.

      regards.

  2. Was the Southgate diary for sale/auction? Has it been sold?
